FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES
Through our maternal hub, pregnancy and postpartum navigators help support individuals as they search for resources that provide perinatal care and early childhood education. Navigators provide evidence-based education, resources, and support to UBB's members. Their goal is to provide or locate accessible and relevant programs for pregnant and postpartum individuals and their children, address the complex needs of growing families, and enhance parent-infant attachment which promotes bonding and healthy learning experiences.
LACTATION SUPPORT SPECIALISTS
Breastfeeding is the number one feeding choice for infants worldwide. Our Milky Way Cafe® support group and services aim to increase breastfeeding confidence and provide information, tips, and techniques to help continue the breastfeeding journey. The group is for anyone in a birthing individual’s village.
MATERNAL WELLNESS SUPPORT
If you are pregnant or postpartum with a child under the age of one, our maternal hub is here. Urban Baby Beginnings uses a village approach to address common issues surrounding maternal mental health by offering programs like the Sister to Sister Postpartum Support Group and ReByrth™ Mothering Circles.
